Manaparai is a town and municipality in Tiruchirappalli district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Manaparai is grade one municipality in Trichy District and it includes the following Revenue villages like Sevalur, Vidathalampatti, Manjampatti, Theerampatti, Pothamettupatti, Manapparaipatti, Karamettupatti, Poomalaipatti, Maahalipatti, Nochimedu, Chidambarathanpatti,Veerachi south street and Santhiyagupuram.

Location

Manapparai town is located at 40km away from Tiruchirapalli Metro city over the Lat. long of 10°37' N and 78°26' E. The town is well connected by roads to the surrounding areas. Mamundi river flows through centre of the town. The major source of income is based on Agriculture and diary farms, so, almost all around the Manaparai town is adorned with Farm lands. Moreover the area is almost surrounded by remnants of Eastern gates hilly terrains and their resultant topography. It always seen with green pastures and moderate forests. Mild climate is the distinctive feature of this area. When rainfall occurs one can expect maximum rainfall at here than that of other areas of TamilNadu.
